We are having tryouts to add to our roster!!
The highly competitive Almaden United Girls '93, a U15 (turning U16 this fall), Class 1 premiere soccer team, is looking for serious players at all positions who are committed to playing soccer at the highest level. We are one of the highest ranked, consistent teams in Northern California and the Western Region of the United States.
Having already laid a solid foundation for success Almaden United has received college attention from all over the country that we are looking to expand upon.
Our team has been State Cup finalists in 2006 & 2008 and last summer played in the US Youth Soccer Far West Regional Championships in Hawaii.
We will be attending a number of high profile college showcase tournaments and events in 2009-2010.

In order to be eligible players may not turn 16 prior to 7/31/2009.
Some of the United girls have won awards from their High School seasons in the '08 - '09 season. We are all very proud of their efforts and continued success.

Megan Rauschnot has been named Freshman Player of the Year by the Mercury News! Megan attends Live Oak in Morgan Hill and played varsity for the Acorns.

Alyssa White was voted to the 1st Team All-League for the second year in a row, as captain on Leland's JV team which took first place in their Blossom Valley Athletic League (BVAL). She also participated in Leland's CCS tournament play.
